Position Overview

The Relationship Banker represents the Chase brand and culture by providing friendly, attentive service and helping clients meet their financial needs. The position focuses on acquiring, managing, and retaining meaningful client relationships while providing thoughtful banking solutions. The role also involves creating positive client experiences, resolving issues efficiently, and helping clients use digital banking tools and technology. The Relationship Banker contributes to the success of the branch by understanding client needs and connecting them with appropriate banking products and services.

 

This position is located in Staten Island, New York. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and create a welcoming branch environment.
  • Provide friendly, attentive customer service.
  • Assist clients with account servicing, maintenance, and new account openings.
  • Help clients use Chase Mobile, Chase.com, ATMs, and other digital banking tools.
  • Listen to clients' needs and recommend appropriate banking products and solutions.
  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships.
  • Resolve client issues quickly and accurately.
  • Manage lobby traffic, client check-ins, and appointments using branch technology.
  • Perform branch operations, including cash handling and managing cash devices.
  • Follow all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with branch team members to help clients achieve their financial goals.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or a related field required.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent required.
  • Proven ability to acquire new clients, deepen relationships, and achieve results.
  • Customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Clear and professional communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of banking products and services and cash handling.
  • Ability to work branch hours, including weekends.

Pay Range

USD $25.00 - USD $32.69 /Hr.
