Position Overview

The Senior Administrative Assistant supports daily office operations by coordinating administrative functions and assisting leadership with organizational priorities. This role helps maintain efficient workflows by managing schedules, preparing reports, maintaining records, and overseeing key administrative processes. The Senior Administrative Assistant also supports financial documentation, recordkeeping, and receptionist staff to help ensure smooth and effective office operations.

 

This position is located in Staten Island, New York.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate meetings and manage leadership schedules.
  • Oversee administrative processes and recommend workflow improvements.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Process check requests and petty cash submissions through ReQlogic.
  • Maintain and reconcile MetroCards and petty cash records.
  • Maintain confidential records and prepare documentation for audits.
  • Close case records in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Supervise receptionist staff and provide guidance on administrative best practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED. required
  • Three (3) or more years of administrative experience required.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Technical proficiency.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity.

Pay Range

USD $28.00 - USD $32.01 /Hr.
