Position Overview

The Financial Professional serves as a client-facing advisor who helps individuals and families plan for financial goals such as retirement, financial protection, and wealth accumulation. This role involves building and maintaining client relationships, assessing financial needs, recommending appropriate financial solutions, and developing a personal client base through networking and outreach. The position is well suited for self-motivated individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset who are interested in sales, relationship building, and financial services.

 

This position is located in Staten Island, NY.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new client relationships through networking, referrals, and outreach.
  • Meet with clients to assess financial goals, needs, and risk tolerance.
  • Recommend and sell appropriate financial solutions, including life insurance, annuities, and investments.
  • Guide clients through the financial planning and sales process.
  • Maintain ongoing client relationships and provide continued service and support.
  • Build and manage a personal book of business.
  • Stay current on financial products, industry trends, and compliance requirements.
  • Complete required training and obtain and maintain professional licenses.
  • Track performance metrics and work toward sales goals and targets.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and mentorship programs.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience or demonstrated ability to sell required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and self-motivation.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Willingness to prospect and develop a personal client base.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet performance goals.
  • Basic financial knowledge or willingness to learn financial products and financial planning concepts.

Pay Range

USD $22.05 - USD $22.05 /Hr.
