Personal Care Assistants provide essential in-home support to individuals who need assistance with daily living due to illness, injury, disability, or aging. In this role, you will help clients maintain their health, safety, comfort, and independence by following individualized care plans. You will also provide companionship and support during daily routines, appointments, and recreational activities while respecting client dignity and privacy. This position plays an important role in helping individuals remain safely in their homes.

This position is located in Staten Island, NY.

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Provide support with toileting and mobility needs.
• Help prepare and serve meals.
• Provide medication reminders as permitted by the care plan.
• Perform light housekeeping and household chores.
• Monitor and report changes in a client's condition to supervisors or nurses.
• Follow individualized care plans to support client needs.
• Provide companionship and accompany clients to appointments, community activities, games, or crafts.

• Must have a recent physical completed within the last six months or be willing to obtain one as soon as possible to begin training.
• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English.
