Personal Touch Home Care is a home health care agency that provides in-home medical and supportive services to individuals who need assistance due to illness, injury, disability, or aging. The agency provides care through trained professionals and is committed to delivering personalized, compassionate care that supports each individual’s medical and personal needs while helping clients remain safe and comfortable in their homes.

Personal Care Assistants provide essential in-home support to individuals who need assistance with daily living due to illness, injury, disability, or aging. PCAs assist clients with personal care, meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and other daily activities while following individualized care plans. The role also provides companionship and support during appointments, community activities, games, and crafts. PCAs help clients maintain their health, safety, comfort, and independence while respecting their dignity and privacy.

This position is located in Staten Island, NY.

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Provide support with toileting and mobility needs.
• Help prepare and serve meals.
• Provide medication reminders as permitted by the care plan.
• Perform light housekeeping and household chores.
• Monitor and report changes in a client’s condition to supervisors or nurses.
• Follow individualized care plans to support client needs.
• Provide companionship and accompany clients to appointments, community activities, games, or crafts.

• Must have a recent physical completed within the last six months or be willing to obtain one as soon as possible to begin training.
• Must have the physical strength to assist individuals in and out of bed and in other situations as needed.
• Strong basic caregiving skills, including assisting with daily living activities.
• Must have patience, empathy, emotional stability, attention to detail, and time management skills.
• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English.
