Key Responsibilities

  • Supplement case planner contacts in accordance with minimum casework contact standards as directed.
  • Assist with outreach and engagement efforts.
  • Provide or arrange case coverage during workers' vacations or other leave.
  • Continually assess family engagement, behavior changes, and in-home functioning.
  • Advocate for and escort families to service sites, modeling appropriate behaviors and assessing learning transfer.
  • Maintain collateral contact with service providers and request progress reports; share information with the case planning team.
  • Actively participate in monthly case supervisions and clinical diagnostic team meetings.
  • Aid in the development of comprehensive assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with training and program learning mandates.
  • Participate in agency meetings as directed.
  • Ensure all written documentation and contacts are entered accurately and promptly.
  • Assist with maintaining physical case records.
  • Perform additional duties as required to meet department/agency needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Some knowledge of the Child Welfare System and experience counseling children and families.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to meet changing needs and demands.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English preferred.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Bronx and to other locations.

Pay Range

USD $24.70 - USD $24.70 /Hr.
