Position Overview

The Banquet Servers will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service during a variety of events, including weddings, conferences, and private functions. Banquet Servers are expected to ensure event spaces are properly set up, provide attentive and efficient service to guests, and maintain a clean and organized environment throughout each event. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well in a fast-paced team setting, and is committed to creating a positive and memorable guest experience.

 

This position is located in Staten Island, NY.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, and place settings
  • Provide professional and attentive food and beverage service during events
  • Serve plated meals, buffets, or passed hors d’oeuvres in a timely and courteous manner
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to requests and service needs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas throughout events
  • Clear tables efficiently and reset as needed during service
  • Assist with beverage service, including water, coffee, and other drinks
  • Collaborate with banquet team, kitchen staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth event execution
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company service standards
  • Assist with post-event breakdown, including cleaning, resetting, and storing equipment and supplies

Requirements

  • Open and flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays required
  • Prior experience in banquet service, hospitality, restaurant, or customer service preferred (not required)Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions during events
  • Professional, reliable, and guest-focused attitude
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays throughout shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed
  • Willingness to learn and uphold high service and presentation standards

Pay Range

USD $17.00 - USD $17.00 /Hr.
