Position Overview

The Pizza Maker is responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards. This role ensures a clean, organized kitchen environment while delivering consistent, high-quality food in a fast-paced setting.

This position is located in Staten Island, NY.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards
  • Stretch, shape, and assemble pizzas with consistent quality and presentation
  • Operate pizza ovens safely and efficiently, monitoring cooking times and temperatures
  • Ensure accurate portioning and proper use of ingredients to maintain cost and quality control
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation, kitchen tools, and equipment
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times
  • Assist with prep work including cutting vegetables, meats, and other ingredients
  • Restock ingredients and communicate supply needs to kitchen staff
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely order completion during peak hours
  • Assist with closing duties including cleaning, restocking, and equipment shutdown procedures

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience as a Pizza Maker required
  • Knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow recipes accurately
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Positive, reliable, and professional attitude
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25–50 lbs
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay Range

USD $17.00 - USD $17.00 /Hr.
