Position Overview

Position title: Full-time Front Desk Host
 
Salary/Hourly Wage: $28.98 - $30.98
 
Shifts available: Multiple including overnight – open availability is very important
Qualifications: Prior experience in Front Desk or customer service role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment, is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Front Desk Operations:
o Warmly welcome and register guests upon arrival, verifying reservation details and
processing payments efficiently.
o Handle guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and swiftly, ensuring all necessary
paperwork is completed.
o Answer and direct incoming calls professionally and courteously, providing information and
taking messages as needed.
o Manage room assignments, ensuring special requests are accommodated whenever possible.
o Maintain accurate guest records and update profiles with preferences and relevant
information.
o Process all forms of payment, including cash, credit cards, and direct billing, accurately and
securely.
o Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, escalating
issues to management when necessary.
• Concierge Services:
o Proactively engage with guests to understand their needs and preferences.
o Assist guests with transportation arrangements, including taxis, ride-shares, and public
transit information.
o Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of local events, cultural activities, shopping, and points of
interest.
o Handle guest mail, packages, and deliveries.
o Assist with luggage handling and storage when needed.
o Cultivate relationships with local businesses and vendors to enhance guest experiences.
o Provide directions and maps, offering insightful tips for navigating the city.
o Anticipate guest needs and offer solutions before being asked.
o Participate in training sessions and departmental meetings as required.

Requirements

• Physical Requirements:
o Ability to stand, walk, pull, push, bend, stoop, and lift for extended periods.
o Ability to lift and carry up to 25-30 pounds.
o Manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment and handle supplies

Pay Range

USD $29.98 - USD $30.98 /Hr.
