Position Overview

Position / Service Title: Engineer

USD $29.88/Hr - $31.88/Hr 

 

o Perform day-to-day general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, including guest
rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
o Execute repairs and maintenance related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general
building systems as directed.
o Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
o Conduct preventive maintenance on guest room equipment and systems as scheduled and
directed by the Director or Assistant Director of Engineering.
o Identify and report any major maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items to the
leadership team.
o Utilize maintenance tracking systems (e.g., HotSos) to document work performed and report
issues.
o Ability to stand, walk, pull, push, bend, stoop, and lift for extended periods.
o Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
o Ability to work flexible hours, including overnights, weekends and holidays, as needed

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma / GED
  • Languages: English
  • Minimum Work Experience: At least 1 year
  • Work Experience:
    Prior experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment, is a plus. HVAC License and Local Fire Safety Director (LFSD) certificate are preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: HVAC Certification
  • Specific Skills:
    o Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
    o Ability to troubleshoot common maintenance issues.
    o Ability to work independently and efficiently, as well as collaboratively within a team.

Pay Range

USD $29.88 - USD $31.88 /Hr.
