We are an early childhood education center for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers that adds a twist on traditional ways of enhancing our children’s development. The Teacher Assistant plays a key role in supporting the daily routines of the classroom and
helping children build independence, confidence, and social-emotional skills. This position is
ideal for someone who is nurturing, flexible, and passionate about early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities:
● Support Lead Teachers in implementing daily routines and activities
● Assist with maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
● Help supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being
● Support diapering, feeding, and toileting routines as needed
● Engage with children through play, conversation, and developmentally appropriate
interactions
● Help prepare materials and set up classroom activities
● Assist with transitions throughout the day (arrival, meals, naps, outdoor play, dismissal)
● Maintain compliance with NYC DOHMH Article 47 regulations
● Communicate respectfully with families and support a welcoming environment
● Work collaboratively with team members across both locations as needed

● High School Diploma or equivalent required
● Experience working with infants and/or toddlers preferred
● Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills
● Warm, patient, and nurturing approach with young children
● Flexibility to support either location based on program needs
