Position Overview

A Team Member at Miller’s Ale House plays a key role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for guests. They are responsible for greeting and assisting customers, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that dining areas are clean and well-maintained. Team Members also support daily restaurant operations by helping with food preparation, following safety and cash-handling procedures, and collaborating with coworkers to maintain smooth service. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist guests warmly to create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Take and process food and beverage orders accurately.
  • Answer guest questions and provide menu recommendations.
  • Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Serve food and drinks in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Assist with basic food preparation and presentation as needed.
  • Ensure orders are complete and meet quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, kitchen, and workstations.
  • Follow safety, sanitation, and cash-handling procedures.
  • Assist in restocking supplies and ensuring equipment is in working order.
  • Work closely with coworkers to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management about tasks or guest needs.
  • Support team members during peak hours to maintain service standards.

  • Previous experience in restaurants, cafes, bars, or retail is helpful but not required
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems or customer service roles is a plus
  • Physically able to stand, walk, and move for most of a shift
  • Comfortable lifting, bending, and carrying items as needed
  • Willing to follow company policies, safety, and sanitation procedures
  • Team-oriented and willing to support coworkers
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the company

Pay Range

USD $17.00 - USD $26.00 /Hr.
