The Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts while ensuring excellent customer service and team performance. This role reports to store management and supports team members in delivering efficient, high-quality service. The Shift Leader plays a key role in maintaining food safety standards, managing workflow, and supporting training efforts. This position is ideal for individuals who are energetic, outgoing, and enjoy leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
Lead shifts and ensure smooth daily operations
Provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns
Support and guide team members during service
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
Assist with opening and closing procedures
Help train and onboard new employees
Follow operational checklists and company procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Food Handler or NYC Food Protection Certification required
At least 1 year of restaurant management experience preferred
Reliable transportation and consistent availability
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Strong communication and leadership skills
Comfortable using online systems (scheduling, inventory, hiring tools)
Outgoing, energetic personality with strong customer service presence (must be friendly and engaging)

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour + tips
