Position Overview
Overall responsibilities for implementation of the Cure Violence Model Build Community Support for the program Coordinates, leads and supports regular mobilization and public education activities Takes a lead role in organizing responses for all shootings that occur in the area Systematic recordkeeping on program performances indicators, participant caseload and program highlights
Key Responsibilities
Experience with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with office equipment, such as fax machines, copy machines and phone systems Bachelors Degree or Associates degree or at least 2 years of experience Comfortable working with at risk youth

Builds Community support for the program
Coordinates, leads, and supports regular mobilization and public education activities. Organize a minimum of one anti-violence community event in the service area per month
Takes a lead role in organizing responses for all shootings that occur in the service area within 72 hours of receipt of notice of the shooting
Establishes and maintains a relationship with the local police precinct
Maintains weekly supervision with the Outreach Supervisor and other staff as needed
