Company Overview

Tishman Speyer is seeking to hire a Seasonal Patrol Officer to join the Rockefeller Center team. The Seasonal Patrol Officer will enforce rules and policies to protect the property and safety of people on the premises while creating a welcoming environment for our customers (tenants), visitors, and the community.   

Position Overview

Skills & Qualifications:   
  • Passion for upholding safety standards while creating a hospitable and welcoming atmosphere.   
  • Required to operate elevators with frequent ascending and descending.   
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English, verbally and written.   
  • Give and receive directions from customers (tenants), visitors and emergency personnel.   

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:   
  • Maintain the health and safety of the building on par with Tishman Speyer standards.   
  • Ensure the safety of all our customers (tenants), visitors, and the community.   
  • Other duties as assigned by management   

Requirements

Requirements:   
  • Must have an active security guard license   
  • Must be able to stand for an extended period, at least 8 hours.   
  • Needs to be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects such as metal barriers and bollards less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.   
  • Must be able to raise and lower banners and flags from flagpoles and open and close doors and gates on manually operated elevators and loading docks less than or equal to 15 pounds of pressure.   
  • Needs to be able to withstand extreme heat and cold temperatures, varying from 0 -100+ degrees, for extended periods, as well as rain, sleet, and snow and work on indoor and outdoor posts on an Observation Deck as high as 85 floors.   
  • Ability to travel between floors and buildings.   
  • The person should be able to take the elevator to high floors and not be claustrophobic.   

Pay Range

USD $21.00 - USD $21.00 /Hr.
