The Group Leader is responsible for delivering engaging afterschool programming and supporting the academic and personal development of youth participants. This role works under the supervision of program leadership and collaborates with staff to implement structured activities for children and teens. The Group Leader plays a critical role in fostering a positive, inclusive, and safe environment while encouraging participation and growth. This position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about education, mentorship, and making a direct impact on young people’s lives.
Lead and facilitate afterschool programs, activities, and events for youth ages 5–14.
Motivate and encourage participants to engage in educational and recreational programming.
Provide group and one-on-one instruction to support learning and development.
Assist students with homework and reinforce academic skills.
Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate programs and activities.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and attendance documentation.
Collaborate with families, schools, and community partners as needed.
Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants.
