Position Overview

As a Home Health Aide (HHA), you will provide hands-on support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. HHAs play an important role in clients' daily well-being by assisting with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and companionship. This position works closely with clients and communicates important information about their condition to clinical staff.

 

This position is located in Staten Island, NY.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Support clients with mobility and ambulation
  • Assist with transfers and the use of medical equipment as directed
  • Help with nutrition, fluid intake, and simple meal preparation
  • Offer companionship and encouragement to clients
  • Monitor and report changes in client conditions to clinical staff
  • Perform light housekeeping related to client care
  • Remind clients about medications and support self-administered medications

Requirements

  • Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required
  • Recent physical examination required
  • Recent PPD test required
  • Two to three professional reference letters required
  • Must provide I-9 employment eligibility documents

Pay Range

USD $19.86 - USD $22.00 /Hr.
